Drawn is loosely what used to be called a record label, but that doesn't really describe what we're all about. Originally, we wanted a platform to present and promote the work from all the talented people that we knew and met. We promote music, art, writing, video.... anything that is creative and good.

We put on nights around Bristol to help the many talents associated with us show off their hard work. We have a monthly night at Mr Wolfs in Bristol, where we put on live music and drawing, along with projections from local VJs. We also use this slot to screen original video work from film makers and digital visual artists. We hosted the Live Tent on the Saturday evening of BrisFest 2010, ran the Blue Mountain club as part of Stokes Croft Festival 2011 and provided live music and DJs for Upfest. We are involved with Bristol Drawing Club too, and we run a night of more experimental sonic adventures and visual installations at Spike Island. There's more too, but this will turn into a massive list if we carry on. Yeah, we've got our fingers in a lot of pies, and that's how we like it.

We also produce a zine in good ol' paper form, which contains writing, ramblings, thoughts and art from local people who wish to submit to it, as long as it passes our quality control, of course. The zine is free and available at our events when it is in stock, and from certain outlets in Bristol. We provide a free PDF version for download from the website, too. Just go to the releases page.

Oh yeah, there's also a series of mixes that we're putting out as free downloads. This is turning out to be a really eclectic mixture of styles, so go and have a look, there's bound to be something that takes your fancy!
